On Wedneday I had a lovely morning teaching the making of my homemade Red Onion Jam with Organic Balsamic Vinegar. I was at the church hall in Magheragall, near Lisburn. The ladies club enjoyed all chopping the Red Onions together and I demonstated the methods used to get the lovely flavours. While cooking the jam the ladies tasted lots of my different products with fresh bread and cheeses, and had 5 different balsamic vinegars to blind taste to try and identify the best one. Everyone did very well and the handmade Irish Balsamic Cider Vinegar came out tops!
